Russel Newman is the Director of Sales at AHT in the West and brings 22 years of insurance industry experience to our firm. Russel leverages his underwriting expertise, carrier relationships, and business development experience to enable our team in the west to achieve our growth objectives. Having worked on the carrier side of our industry and as a client facing advisor, Russel brings a unique perspective to AHT that can drive transformational change for our clients and our organization. Russel will capitalize on his vast industry network to help drive recruitment and growth of our advisor team in the West.
Russel earned his Bachelors degree at Alfred University in Upstate New York and his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. When not focused on helping our team of expert advisors, Russel can be found spending time with his two sons and walking his dog Smokey. He is an avid New York sports fan and is a passionate advocate for children born with cranio-facial deformities working extensively with the Children’s Craniofacial Association.
