Philip Mason is an Advisor who brokers insurance and manages risk for technology and life science companies. His clients include some of the world’s most innovative companies, helping them efficiently manage complicated and often high-stakes risks, complete strategic transactions, and address crucial regulatory matters. Phil enjoys serving as an advisor to both early-stage high-growth venture-funded businesses and large global public companies.
Phil founded Mason & Mason a Boston-based insurance broker acquired by AHT in 2020. He also cofounded Techassure, a global non-profit, dedicated to the advancement of risk management and insurance for venture capital, technology, and life science businesses. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and continues to develop expertise in managing risk at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Phil holds a BA in History from Bates College.
When Phil is not brokering insurance for technology and life science companies, he can be found with his wife Pam and their golden retrievers, hiking and fly fishing in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
