AHT’s 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises $32,000 to Benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief and Mobile Hope

Leesburg, VA – December 14, 2015  –  AHT Insurance has proudly announced that it raised $32,000 to split between beneficiaries Loudoun Interfaith Relief and Mobile Hope, from its 27th  annual Charity Golf Tournament held at Piedmont Club in Haymarket, VA on September 15, 2015. With strong support from area residents, businesses, and several national insurance companies, the proceeds from this year’s event represent a continued commitment to support local nonprofits. Ongoing support from AHT through the golf tournament to Loudoun Interfaith Relief has totaled $218,000 dollars over the years.

Loudoun Interfaith Relief (LIR) is a 501(c)(3) emergency food pantry located in Leesburg, VA. The mission of Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc. is simple: feed the hungry by providing emergency food assistance to those in need. Last year, LIR distributed more than 1.2 million pounds of food and served over 70 families per day.

Mobile Hope is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide essential needs, emotional support and referrals for at-risk, precariously housed and homeless youth 21 years of age and younger living in Loudoun County. There are currently over 1100 youth identified in this category in Loudoun County Public Schools.
