Suzanne Shockney joined AHT Insurance in 2019. She is a Client Executive. Suzanne brings with her more than 30 years of insurance and risk management experience in numerous industries and with an array of client types and sizes.
Working with clients through some of the most challenging financial crashes and placing complex coverage for difficult risk profiles, her background and lessons learned provided the knowledge that became the building blocks to her career. The risks she encountered needed effective, multi-layered, multi-participants property programs to provide the earthquake coverage needed, and Suzanne took the lead – becoming the local resource for these programs.
A west coast native, Suzanne’s career, working with large brokerage and consulting firms, moved her through San Francisco and Los Angeles – eventually landing her in Seattle. While Suzanne has worked with clients from a number of various industries, her emphasis continues to be on the Real Estate industry. In her role as AHT’s Real Estate Practice Leader, Suzanne uses her experience – the good, the bad and the unique – to provide the firm’s clients valuable knowledge and resources and continue building the practice.
