Hiro has been working for insurance brokerage firms for last 31 years servicing Japanese clients in the United States. Over 30 years, he has worked for large Global Brokerage firms A&A, Aon, Marsh, and Willis Towers Watson. After working in the Major Global Insurance Brokerage House, he moved to Baldwin Risk Partners (BRP) in October 2021 to provide his clients with superior, client-first, consultative service instead of prioritizing account profitability over service quality.
Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of industries for Japanese clients, such as trading firms, automotive related manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, financial institutions, and several projects, infrastructures, energy, and railcar supply. Hiro has also worked in areas of risk management consulting on several projects, such as Alternative Risk Transfers, Trade Credits, and Management Liability.
He has been managing the Japanese Practice since 2013 after two years as a US National Sales leader and is now creating consultative professional risk management consulting teams.
Hiro holds a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Economics from the State of University of New York College at Buffalo.
