David Turkaleski joined AHT in 2014 at their Director of International Programs. David brings over 15 years of highly specialized property & casualty and employee benefits international insurance brokerage experience. Having traveled to over 50 countries on 5 continents providing global risk solutions, enables him to provide a global perspective which is instrumental in implementing his client’s global growth initiatives.
In his current role, David oversees the global insurance program for AHT’s clients with significant international exposures, including those in the nonprofit, technology and manufacturing industries, including many NGOs. When managing the global business exposures of multinational organizations, David uses his experience to deliver innovative solutions. He is particularly well versed in the nuances of Global Master Controlled programs, Regulatory Compliance, Political Violence, Risk and Terrorism coverage, as well as Political Evacuation and Repatriation especially in difficult parts of the world. David also serves as the agencies representative to the Worldwide Broker Network.
David is the Treasurer of The Ohio State Alumni Club of Washington, D.C. and is the Washington, D.C. Steering Committee Chair for the United Macedonia Diaspora. David previously held a position with the Northern Virginia Society for Human Resources Management (NOVA SHRM) as the leader of their International Special Interest Group.
David holds a B.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University and a MBA from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.
