Jim Maulfair Honored with Top Financial Advisor Recognition
Leesburg, VA – July 20, 2015 – AHT Insurance is pleased to announce that Jim Maulfair, National Director of Financial Services, has been recognized by the Financial Times as a 2015 Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisor.
The Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors is an independent listing produced by the Financial Times (May, 2015). The FT 401 is based on data gathered from financial advisors, firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. The listing reflects each advisor’s performance in eight primary areas, including: DC plan assets under management; DC plan assets as a percentage of overall AUM; growth in DC plan AUM; growth in DC plans advised; DC plan employee participation; professional designations; experience; and compliance record. Neither the brokerages nor the advisors pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 401.
Jim Maulfair leads AHT’s financial services department. Under his leadership the department has grown to serve clients of all sizes. Prior to joining AHT in 2004, Jim worked with for-profit and nonprofit clients on both the tax and auditing sides as a Certified Public Accountant with a regional accounting firm. Jim also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a Human Resource firm which provided outsourced solutions in the areas of employee benefits, human resources, payroll, 401(k) and risk management to over 12,000 employees in thirty states.
