Steve Uno leads AHT’s employee benefits practice and has assisted the growth of the Seattle office since its opening in 1999. His expertise in designing and placing employee benefits programs for mid and large-sized employer groups includes traditional and non-traditional benefit programs, financial planning, plan transitions and disability management. Under Steve’s leadership, AHT’s Seattle office boasts one of the most rapidly expanding employee benefits practices in the Pacific Northwest.
Steve is a frequent speaker about a variety of employee benefits topics and has published numerous articles and white papers. He is an active member in the Self-insured Institute of America and the National Association of Health Underwriters and is a past Board Advisor for the Employee Benefit Planning Association.
Prior to joining AHT in 1999, Steve worked in sales and marketing for a Fortune 500 company and for a national insurance brokerage.
