AHT Insurance Expands Employee Benefits Division

Leesburg, VA – June 1, 2015 – AHT Insurance is pleased to announce the addition of Todd Marangon as Senior Vice President in their Seattle employee benefits division. The addition of Marangon will bolster AHT’s employee benefits production team and further establish AHT Insurance as a market leader in employee benefits for nonprofit, architectural, engineering, technology, niche government contracting and manufacturing organizations.  In addition, Joann Morgan and Carol Blankenship will be joining the account management team.

Steve Uno, AHT Executive Vice President commented, “Todd has been a very successful and prolific producer.  In his previous roles, Todd was able to successfully close in excess of $1.5M in revenue.  The combination of Todd’s production and institutional consulting knowledge with Joann and Carol’s large group knowledge will take AHT’s employee benefits division to the next level.  We have built a team of producers, account executives, compliance and regulatory, and analytics that will appeal to firms of 1,000 to 5,000 employees.”

Prior to joining AHT, Marangon was the most senior Producer at one of the largest brokerages in the U.S. Marangon has over 25 years of experience and is well regarded in the Seattle Marketplace for his experience and knowledge. Individually, Morgan and Blankenship each bring over 30 years of experience in large group and self-funded medical group insurance. With Morgan and Blankenship joining the team, AHT will round out a team of account executives with extensive experience working with all forms of large group management and self-funded accounts.

This expansion will make AHT’s Seattle employee benefits practice the largest in a privately-held firm in the Seattle Marketplace, and one of the top 5 largest of all Seattle Marketplace brokerage firms. AHT’s employee benefits practice will be well positioned to rank in the top 20 of the Employee Benefit News (EBN) Top 50 Large-Group Employee Benefit Brokers in the U.S.
