AHT Appoints New Member to the Board of Directors

Leesburg, VA – July 27, 2018: AHT Insurance is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenni Bickerstaff, Principal and Senior Vice President, to the Board of Directors.

Bickerstaff joined the employee benefits team at AHT in 2007 after working 12 years in the healthcare industry. With more than 25 years of experience in employer benefits specialization, she has the vision to understand what problems can arise during the administration of health plans, the best ways to resolve them and, more importantly, what can be put in place to avoid typical pitfalls. Bickerstaff also holds a Global Benefits Certification and is exceptionally proficient in advising clients about their International requirements – working extensively with local nationals, third-country nationals and expatriate policies and advisement.

“I am looking forward to utilizing my 24 years of corporate benefits experience to further collaborate with the Management and Board at AHT to bring additional awareness of the ever-changing and complex employee benefits environment and how we can best achieve differentiation to our internal and external clients,” says Jenni Bickerstaff.

Bickerstaff currently serves on the advisory board for two of the largest national health carriers and is a frequent speaker to educate clients, CEOs and CFOs about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how technology can transform the HR functionality. She also sits on the board of a Paxton Campus, a local nonprofit organization serving children with disabilities. Bickerstaff is a natural leader, and her skills and determination to ensure AHT’s employee benefits clients receive a heroic level of service will be a valuable addition to the current AHT Board of Directors.

She earned her B.S. in Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and National Association of Health Underwriters.
