AH&T Annual Spring Client Seminar Speakers: Jason T. Froggatt, Partner, Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP and Kym Walther, Regional Director of Wellness, United Health Care. Jason will discuss Compliance Pitfalls in Wellness Plans. Jasons area of practice is Employee Benefits in which he provides advice on employee retirement plans, plan qualification and plan fiduciary duties. He represents group health plans and their plan sponsors with respect to COBRA and HIPAA compliance, including the privacy and security regulations, and other federal and state laws regulations group health plans. He also provides advice on equity-based compensation, including establishing stock option plans, employee stock purchase plans and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Kim will discuss Developing Effective Wellness Programs for the Small Group. Kym has worked in Health Promotion for 13 years and specifically in Corporate Health Promotion in the managed care industry for the last 7. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Management and Policy, with a concentration in Health Promotion from the University of New Hampshire, and a Masters degree in Health Promotion and Exercise Physiology from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts. Additionally, she holds personal training and strength and conditioning certifications.
